Matthew Thomason

After completing his musical training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Matthew Thomason spent some years performing across the country as a solo artist and songwriter. This was followed by several years travelling the world, where whilst teaching in China  he first began working with choral groups.

 

In 2016 Matthew relocated to Cornwall to take up the position of  Music Project Leader for WILD Young Parents Project, a charity which helps to empower young vulnerable families across Cornwall. Matthew now works as a freelance Composer and Music Director for organisations such as Hall For Cornwall, Tate St Ives, NHS England, British Council and the RSC. 

 

Matthews composition works include: Long Way Back (2022), A Short Film About Ice (2021), Arthurs Club (2023), Europa (2024).

Giles Woolley

Giles is a versatile musician, accomplished producer, and dedicated child development specialist.

 

"Music is not just for a selected few, it's for everyone. Singing in a large group is a timeless activity that brings immense joy and satisfaction"

As a child development specialist and well-being practitioner, he focuses primarily on addressing challenging behaviors and childhood trauma in collaboration with AP academies, local charities, parents, schools, teachers, and community services. His approach incorporates the arts, with music serving as a central element. Through the power of music, he facilitates individuals' self-expression and healing.
